The Vector

The Vector is the Swiss Army tool of the UNI Guard. In its default conformation, it serves as a primary defense weapon. All UNI Academy students are trained early in the use of the plasma vector as part of their routine physical and survival curricula, although younger students use simulators. Because the blade edge is made of super-heated, dissociated ions, it can slice cleanly through most materials.

The Ark

Comparable to the size of 2 large cruise ships, the Ark brigades about 5000 Veridians and an army of 2000 UNI Guardians, as well as samples of endangered Veridian fauna and flora. The ship is state of the art technology, where every surface acts as computer interfaces and surveillance camera, triggered with the bio scan of the touch of a finger.

The Bird

Birds are 3-man vehicles piloted by UNI personnel only. They were used for peace-keeping on Veridia but re-purposed as escape vessels aboard the Ark to be used as a small landing craft or lifeboats should the Ark become uninhabitable.

The aerodynamic design is built for fast acceleration, nearly breaking the sound barrier in a matter of seconds. A skilled pilot can make the Bird reverse direction suddenly in mid-flight, causing an extremely loud sound, which UNI Guards refer as “making the Bird sing.”
